Chelsea fans applaud player who is close to landing a contract extension deal
Chelsea left-back and Spain international, Marcos Alonso, in a statement during the week made it known that he is already in talks with Chelsea over a new contract deal.
Marcos Alonso had said he was ‘in talks with Chelsea to sign a new contract.’
According to him, the deal will be finalized at the end of this month after which it will be made public.
Another report hinted that the Spaniard’s current contract is expected to end in 2021 but his performance has convinced the Blues to open talks for a new negotiation.
Chelsea will be making the right decision by extending his contract because Alonso has turned out to be one of the most talented left backs in the English Premier League with good ball delivery.
Alonso has also made some assists from 8 games and has also helped the Blues to an unbeaten start in the ongoing campaign.
The talented player was close to leaving Chelsea for Barcelona but decided to stay put and now seeks a contract extension.
