Why United is yet to move in for Crystal Palace right-back

The English Premier League outfit Man United is repeatedly linked with a move for Crystal Palace right full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka but they are yet to make a move for him despite having the summer transfer window opened in England.

Man United are set to do away with legendary players Ashley Young and Antonio Valencia which makes it compulsory to move in for a new right full-back with Aaron Wan-Bissaka tipped to meet up with the quality required by the team.

However, it is suggested that the Red Devils are yet to make a move for the star player because they are not convinced he is worth the £50 asking price by Crystal Palace.

The 21-year-old had his most impressive performance in the 2018-19 after making 39 appearances to help his team with a mid-table finish, 15 points above relegation.

His performance has seen him in the club’s best player of the season with his ability to intercept and compete for duels.

It is therefore claimed that personal terms have been agreed upon with the player but the fee requested for would be the only barrier to the deal.

Meanwhile, Wan-Bissaka’s contract at Selhurst Park runs until June 2022 and it is suggested that he will not force a move away yet.
