Deal Agreed! Chelsea to complete winter move for top striker, Arsenal Complete Aubameyang Signing

Bundesliga Champions Borussia Dortmund have agreed to a deal to land Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi on loan for the remainder of the campaign, subject to a medical examination.

Arsenal complete Aubameyang signing

The Gunners brought in from Dortmund Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – who the German side said they would only offload if a replacement was signed – later on, winter transfer deadline day.

The Blues could sign France international striker Olivier Giroud from the North London club as a replacement for Belgian forward Batshuayi to seal a three-way transfer deal.

The German Bundesliga transfer window shuts at 17:00 GMT today Wednesday.

Michy dilemma

Belgium international striker Michy Batshuayi has played 32 Premier League matches for the Blues since arriving the West London club from French Ligue 1 side Marseille back in July 2016, netting seven goals.

Chelsea Italian tactician Antonio Conte expressed earlier this week that the 23-year-old forward was in contention to feature in their English Premier League match against AFC Bournemouth on Wednesday night.

The Stamford Bridge outfit have also held discussions with North London club Tottenham over a likely swap deal involving Spanish striker Fernando Llorente – but Michy Batshuayi turned down the move as he desired to be a first-choice forward.

Dortmund to play FC Koln in their next League match on February 2.
