According to British media reports, La Liga giants Real Madrid are planning a move to appoint current Chelsea manager Antonio Conte as their new boss.
The Daily Mail is claiming that the La Liga giants are keen on appointing the Italian tactician as their new head coach after French man Zinedine Zidane stepped aside at the conclusion of the campaign.
The same article states that the UEFA Champions League winners have turned their focus to current Chelsea manager Antonio Conte after Juventus head coach Massimiliano Allegri rejected the role on Monday.
Madrid want Conte
It is being suggested that Real Madrid view Antonio Conte as the only top class tactician who might be available this summer window and they are set to make a swoop for the current Chelsea manager.
The situation of the former Juventus and Italy head coach at Stamford Bridge remains a frequent source of rumour, with the Italian expected to leave Chelsea this summer window.
The FA Cup winners ended up in fifth spot on the English Premier League log last term as they missed out on UEFA Champions League qualification for next season.
The Blues did, though, manage to finish the season on an impressive note by beating bitter rivals Manchester United in the Emirates FA Cup final last month at Wembley Stadium.
