Chelsea set to complete these two key signings in January

According to reports, Chelsea are eager to sign both Thomas Lemar and Red Star forward Richmond Boakye, however, the West Londoners have allegedly softened their interest in Celtic striker Moussa Dembele.

According to the Evening Standard, the Blues want to bring in Monaco forward Thomas Lemar, with Chelsea also closely watching Red Star Belgrade man Boakye, after the news that Michy Batshuayi is eager to complete a loan transfer away from the Bridge.

The outlet is also claiming that Italian tactician Antonio Conte tutored side are relaxing their transfer interest in Dembele, who they were allegedly targeting over the summer transfer window.

Since the beginning of the 2015/16 campaign, The Monaco forward has impressed supporters with his display for Leonardo Jardim’s team.

In 107 matches for the French club, the forward has been able to amass 21 goals and made 26 assists, a good return for a youngster.

In the last campaign, the 22-year-old winger shone like million stars, as he was able to score nine goals and made 11 assists in 34 league matches as he helped the French Champions win the title.

Red Star Belgrade forward Boakye has also performed impressively, with the player scoring 15 goals in only 14 league appearances this term, a great record.
