3-4-3 Formation, Chelsea’s Probable Starting XI Against Stoke City

Chelsea will come up against Stoke City at the Stamford Bridge and are expected to pick up the maximum points. A win for them will edge the Blues closer to equaling Arsenal’s 14-game winning streak.

However, the Blues might find it had breaking down the Potteries defence due to their solidity and even similar tactics of three-man defence line. But going by their current form, they could easily get three points since they are playing at home.

In their usual 3-4-3 formation, Thibaut Courtois is expected to keep his place between the sticks.

David Luiz, Gary Cahill and Cesar Azpilicueta are expected to retain the three-man defence line.

N’Golo Kante returns to the squad to pair Nemanja Matic in the defensive midfield area. Moses and Alonso keep their place on the wings.

Willian is expected to come in for suspended Pedro, alongside Eden Hazard in attack while Diego Costa returns to take his central striking role following his suspension.

Probable Line-up: Courtois, Azpilicueta, Luiz, Cahill- Kante, Matic, Moses, Alonso- Willian Hazard, Costa.

Out: Terry (injury), Pedro (suspended).

Stoke City probable Line-up: (3-4-2-1 formation)

Grant- Johnson, Shawcross, Indi- Whelan, Imbula, Pieters, Diouf, Allen, Shaqiri- Walters.

Out: Arnatovic (ban) Butland, Cameron, Ireland (injury), Bardsley, Muniesa (doubt)
