North London outfit Arsenal are reported to be moving in for the signature of Spanish La Liga outfit Getafe defender Djene ahead of the coming summer transfer window.
The Gunners team need to strengthen their defence as that has been the soft spot of the team this season.
The 27-year-old has been in great form this season and is a key member of the Spanish side. He has been tipped to be the better option for the Unai Emery team as they are keen to get better in that department.
However, the North London outfit are not alone in the chase for the Togo international as a number of teams are reported to be monitoring the player which gives the hint that he could be leaving Getafe at the end of the season.
Meanwhile, Djene has got a release clause of £30 million which the Unai Emery side may be ready to invest so as to bring a lasting solution to their defensive problems.
The Gunners boss has already given the hint that the club will be participating in the summer transfer window so as to add more strength to the team as a number of players might also be leaving at the end of the season.
