Chelsea could be handed opportunity to complete move for record-breaking Superstar in surprise switch

Neymar has allegedly informed his Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain they should complete the surprise move of Chelsea forward Alvaro Morata as an upgrade version of Edinson Cavani.

Neymar, Cavani issues this season

The Brazilian has had his problems with his forward partner at the club this season and believes the Spain international striker could be the striker that best suit their attack.

This is notwithstanding some decent form from Edinson Cavani, who only at the end of January became the club’s all-time record scorer, overtaking Manchester United forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Neymar want Cavani out

As per Don Balon, however, the former Barcelona star has told the president of PSG to make a move for the Chelsea forward, despite the Spaniard struggling since leaving La Liga champions Real Madrid for the West London club last summer transfer window.

Alvaro Morata had never really been a regular figure during his playing time at Santiago Bernabeu, and it now looks like the forward is finding it hard to cope with the rigorous demands of leading the attack for a top side week in, week out.

Morata, 25, has still displayed some flashes of top quality, however, and has long been labelled as a hot prospect in Europe.

Cavani could join Chelsea

Don Balon suggests that this could lead the French Ligue 1 side to offer Edinson Cavani to Premier League Champions Chelsea to help lure Alvaro Morata to Paris.
