Chelsea star player Willian has been linked with a move to Manchester United and it appears he is bound to join the red devils this summer.
According to new reports, the Old Trafford club have held talks with the player’s reps as they attempt to bring him to the Theater of Dreams.
Willian has worked with Mourinho when the Portuguese tactician was still boss at Stamford Bridge, and the manager is a known admirer of the Brazilian. Both enjoyed a productive relationship and were able to win some trophies together before Mourinho left London.
And although Jose has initially suggested that he won’t bring in anymore attacking players this summer, it appears Willian is on his way to Old Trafford.
There are new reports that Manchester United have held informal discussions with the Brazilian’s reps to ask if a summer deal could be possible.
The red devils tried signing Willian last summer but a deal couldn’t see the light of the day before the closure of the window. Although he has a contract at Chelsea meant to expire in 2020, the South American is not happy with his lack of regular first-team actions at Stamford Bridge.
The red devils signed Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal in January but still need a superb winger that can take care of the right wing.
