Chelsea to be affected by FIFA new rules

Rumours and unconfirmed reports have been making round about an impending new rule from world football body, FIFA.

According to report, the new impending rules is targeted on loan players from one club to another.

The report disclosed that the world football body are planning to reduce the number of players available in football clubs to loan out to eight players as maximum.

If this new rule sees the light of the day then it will be a big blow on English football club, Chelsea.

This is because the Blues are used to signing out 30+ players per season.

Well, the new rule is yet to be confirmed and even if it is made public later on, it will take years before it would be legalised.

Another clause from the rule that got our attention is that football clubs are however allowed to loan out as many players as possible so long the players were developed in the club and not less than 21 years of age.

This means Chelsea will still be able to send out their young prospects to acquire more experience without having to use the 8 spots made available by FIFA.
