Xherdan Shaqiri says his limited playing chances at Anfield is not a surprise to him
Switzerland international and Liverpool newly signed player, Xherdan Shaqiri in a recent statement open up about his limited playing chances at Liverpool FC.
Xherdan Shaqiri, who Liverpool signed from relegated Stoke City in summer transfer window for £13 million had been a regular while he was at his former club but the same can’t be said of Liverpool.
Since his arrival at Anfield, the Swiss has only made just two appearances for Liverpool from the bench.
However, Xherdan Shaqiri in his statement disclosed he is very calm and confident that his moment will come.
The Switzerland international disclosed that he is not surprised about getting limited playing chances under Jurgen Klopp, it is expected at a big club, a club as big as Liverpool.
He added that his past experience at Bayern Munich and Inter Milan have gotten hi used to it.
Shaqiri however disclosed he is confident of making his first start for Liverpool since his arrival in the coming weeks.
This is because the Reds will be playing difficult matches in the coming weeks and Klopp will need to rotate his players.
