Arsene Wenger Reveals ONE Problem Mesut Ozil Had At Arsenal

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has revealed their dismal defeat against Bayern Munich affected Mesut Ozil’s form in recent games.

The German play-maker has come under intense criticism from fans and pundits alike due to his lack-lustre performances for the Gunners, the criticisms were further fuelled by the Gunners’ recent dip in form, losing out of the Champions League courtesy of a disappointing defeat to Bayern Munich which Wenger has claimed to have caused Ozil’s dip in form in recent games.

Arsenal bounced back with a vital 3-0 win over West Ham United in which Ozil showed his real quality, scoring one and assisting another against the Hammers.

After the win, Arsene Wenger said: ‘I love Mesut Ozil and I love his game as well,

‘I think he suffered when we went out of the Champions League and he was really down for a while.

‘Now he is refocused and you see a different player.’

There have been speculations over the future of the former Real Madrid star at the Emirates following his refusal to renew his contract with the Gunners, sparking suggestions that he wants to leave the club at the end of the season after reportedly rejecting a bumper pay rise offer.
