Arsenal’s transformation this season made known to Unai Emery

Arsenal now begins to struggle with inconsistent performance owing to the fact that some of the defenders are on the sideline due to various degrees of injuries.

With the Gunners failing to secure additions to the squad due to their transfer policy for the winter transfer window, the only option will be to wait until the coming summer window to add more strength to their squad.

However, former Arsenal forward Freddie Ljungberg has stated that manager Unai Emery must turn his attention to some of the Academy players as a cover as he mentioned Eddie Nketiah as an option.

Freddie Ljungberg stated that Eddie Nketiah needs to find more games in the first team to be able to prove he can deliver goals, stressing that he, the young lad, has been training with the first team for sometimes.

Eddie Nketiah has been handed some games for Cup competitions and has shown the glimpse of what he can deliver but the Arsenal legend is advocating that he needs more games to be able to come to his best.

However, it is unclear if the Spanish boss will be able to trust Eddie Nketiah for a starting role at the club especially in the presence of bigger players.
