United willing to pay £40m for highly rated EPL star

It has been reported that English Premier League side Manchester United will be willing to pay the sum of £40 million to land highly rated Bournemouth star David Brooks in this winter window.

The Sun reports that the Red Devils are keen on his signature and would make another attempt for him in the coming winter window should they fail to land him before the end of January.

Reports from the English Press claims that the Old Trafford side are not alone in the pursuit of David Brooks as another North London side Tottenham are also interested in landing him.

David Brooks has established himself this season as a midfielder with big quality and potential which is the reason why he has been identified by the EPL sides.

The 21-year-old has virtually started all games for Bournemouth this season and has been able to help with five goals and provided two assists.

United interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is understood to be a big fan of the star player and is willing o bring him to the Old Trafford either now or later in the summer window.

However, Bournemouth are keen on keeping the star player especially till the end of the season.
