It appears Arsenal star player Alexis Sanchez is destined to move to Old Trafford before the closure of the ongoing winter transfer window.
According to reports, the red devils have agreed to contract terms with the talented Chilean international.
Sanchez was not part of the party that clashed with Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon, and even manager Arsene Wenger admitted the player is set to leave North London.
The former Barcelona man was close to reuniting with his former manager Pep Guardiola at Manchester City last summer, but Arsenal chose to hinder the move since Monaco refused letting go of Thomas Lemar.
However, Jose Mourinho’s side are now favourites to sign the player after beating the sky blue club with their offer.
The Old Trafford club are willing to make the 29-year-old the highest-paid player in the Premier League by offering him a £400,000-a-week deal.
Additionally, Man United are also set to pay £30m to the gunners, which is only £5m below Arsenal’s asking price.
And according to recent reports, the red devils have finally reached an agreement with the South American player and his representatives.
After losing 2-1 to Bournemouth yesterday, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger also reaffirmed the player is on the verge of leaving North London, and, according to him, something is expected to come up ‘in the next 48 hours’.
