Premier League side want to sign Arsenal’s 22-year-old English youngster

Offer received for defender

Arsenal have received an offer from fellow English Premier League side FC Burnley for young England youth international Rob Holding.

This is as per the Sun, who are claiming that Sean Dyche’s team are eager to sign him on loan for the remainder of the campaign and have asked about taking him and that Arsene Wenger will only make a decision on whether he’s to allow the player leave should he manage to seal a deal for West Brom Central defender Jonny Evans.

Impressive display

Since joining Arsenal from Championship club Bolton back in 2016, he has managed to find his way into Arsene Wenger’s first eleven plans.

In total, the England Under 21 star has managed to play a total of 37 matches for the side in the one and a half seasons since he arrival North London, an impressive achievement for a player of his youthful age.

So far this campaign, Rod Holding has managed to gather a total of 19 first team matches, with the defender often being favoured to his fellow national teammate Callum Chambers in defence for Arsenal.

His calmness on and off the ball and technical prowess have seen some tip him as one of Premier League’s best young defenders.
