United begin Champions League preparation with this major move

Manchester United have been handed hope of a Champions League football by interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as they return to the fourth position in the Premier League table on Saturday.

This is after the Red Devils recorded a sweet comeback to from 1-0 down to defeat Southampton by 3-2 while North London outfit Arsenal played a 1-1 draw against Tottenham in the North London derby.

However, the interim manager had already hinted that the club is lacking in some qualities as regards the squad strength and there will be a need to secure more additions if they must compete in the Champions League next season.

One of the preparations is a reported move for Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho ahead of the summer transfer window.

Jadon Sancho, who left Manchester City as a youth player to join the Bundesliga outfit in 2017 has now improved in his game to have caught the attention of a number of big European sides.

So far this season, he has found the back of the net 10 times and has handed 18 assists in 44 appearances across all competitions to help his Bundesliga outfit.

However, Jadon Sancho is being loved by the club with suggestions that he might not be released at the moment.
