Why Arsenal shift attention to Rennes for Ismaila Sarr after Dembele miss

Emerging reports indicate that Arsenal are shifting their attention to Rennes winger, Ismaila Sarr after missing out on the signature of Ousmane Dembele.

Although the mirror reports that the player is been linked to Spanish side, Barcelona but the Gunners are keen on the player to add flare to the attack.

The North London club were believed to be interested in the player in the summer but a deal failed to work through with the player resuming at Nou Camp putting to rest all speculations linking him to England.

The 20-year-old Senegal international, who made his debut on a bigger stage at the Russia World Cup has been tipped as one of Europe’s top prospect.

The Unai Emery side will battle to get the signature of the player who is also being monitored by Inter Milan.

Rennes have placed a price tag of £20 on the player and rejected all advances on him in the January Transfer window.

The player has two goals so far in six games in the current 2018/2019 season for his French club.

Sarr would have been a Barcelona player by now if he had not picked the option of moving to Rennes over the Spanish giants in 2017.
