Good News! Liverpool Inquired About Signing 23-year-old Star

Our attention will be on Anfield this night as Liverpool clash against Chelsea in a Premier League contest. However, fans of both  teams will also place an eye on the transfer deadline.

The window is closing soon, and some teams are already making late transactions. Liverpool fans are waiting if their club will make a late transaction before the window closes officially.

New reports suggests that the Merseysiders have actually made an offer to sign Dominican international Mariano Diaz from the Los Blancos this January.

Yesterday, Spanish outlet Eco Diario insisted that the Reds have just inquired about signing the 23-year-old striker but he added that he does not want to leave the Bernabeu.

Diaz has proved to be a superb player for Real Madrid and manager Zinedine Zidane  finally gave him his first team chance this season. In 9 senior appearances he has scored 5 goals and has provided 1 assist for his side.

Eco Diario stated however that Real Madrid have been looking to offload him for quite some time now. It was said that they even agreed a loan deal with Alaves last summer, but Mariano himself has been stubborn. The player has continued to reject every offer and wants to stay with the Spanish giants.
