José Mourinho is seriously searching for fresher legs to bolster his Manchester United side and fight for titles and his search looks to be made easier with this current development.
According to the latest transfer rumours, Manchester United have been handed an early edge and massive boost in the pursuit for ballon d’or shortlist, Antoine Griezmann, just as the French dangerman has revealed that his first-choice destination in the British Isles would be a move to Manchester United.
A report from Mirror claims that both Manchester sides, and London-based Chelsea are all in the race for the 25-year-old France international, who is valued at £80 million by the Roji Blancos.
But the Atletico Madrid ace has reportedly told sources close to him that Old Trafford would be his choice destination ahead of high fliers Chelsea and Manchester City. Griezmann has revealed earlier that he discussed about Manchester United and manager José Mourinho with his international team-mate and friend Paul Pogba.
In a recent interview, the Frenchman hinted on his potential move to Old Trafford in the future: ‘I always ask Paul Pogba about Manchester United. I think they are a huge club with a really good infrastructure.
‘You hear a lot of [rumors] about Manchester United and Paris St-Germain but right now I don’t see me moving to a new club.
‘But It would be awesome to play alongside Paul [Pogba] one day.’ He concluded.
