Man United still keen on this Barcelona star
It is claimed that Manchester United are still keen on the signature of Barcelona star Ivan Rakitic and they are believed to be keeping tabs on him ahead of the summer winter window.
Ivan Rakitic has been linked away from the Camp Nou since the last winter transfer window and it has become more likely he would be leaving the club now with the signature of Ajax star Frenkie de Jong who could now be more considered for the middle while the Spanish giants are also looking forward to landing Saul Niguez from Sevilla in the coming summer window.
This therefore gives the hint that Barcelona could be tempted to have him leave the club so as to cash in on him as he is already 30 and will be rounding up his career.
However, a number of top European sides are keen on the signature of the Croatia international but the Red Devils are believed to be in for front.
It is claimed that with about three years left to the end of his career, the Spanish giants could accept £39 million for the star player who earns a net salary of $4.7 million and the Red Devils are supposedly ready to meet the valuation.
