According to Dutch media reports, Premier League duo of Liverpool and Arsenal have been keeping close tabs on PSV Eindhoven youngster Steven Bergwijn ahead of the summer window.

Dutch publication De Telegraaf, as cited by Metro, is claiming that Liverpool and Arsenal have been monitoring closely the 20-year-old with an intention of making as summer move.

As per the same reports, the Reds have sent scouts to watch Bergwijn play for PSV Eindhoven, where he has become a major influential figure recently.

The same reports state that the Gunners and the Reds are leading the race to sign Bergwijn from England as the summer window gets into complete swing.

Quality starlet

Bergwijn netted eight times from the wings as he helped his side to win the Dutch League title last term, and it looks like his solid displays have not gone unnoticed by top Premier League clubs.

As per the same report, Bergwijn has been tipped as a possible transfer target for North London giants Tottenham Hotspur in time past, but it is the Merseyside giants and the Gunners who are most keen to signing the starlet as things stand.
