Apart from Nabil Fekir, Houssem Aouar is another Lyon player who has been strongly linked with a move to Liverpool in recent times.
And according to new reports circulating in the media, the talented player has now put pen on paper for a new five-year deal with the Ligue 1 heavyweights.
Despite his tender age (19-year-old), he has been able to establish himself as an important member at Lyon last season.
He played 44 games for the French club in all competitions and was able to attract the attention of some top clubs across Europe, including Liverpool.
Despite their strong interest in Nabil Fekir, the Anfield club were still linked with Aouar.
However, it appears the talented teenager won’t be leaving France anytime soon. He has been with Lyon since he was 11, and any other side interested in his signature will have to wait.
The midfielder played in different roles for Lyon last term and it is obvious lots of clubs will keep an eye on him next season.
