As reported by The Sun, Premier League giant Arsenal could bring in Andre Silva, if Chile international Alexis Sanchez leaves and Serie A giant AC Milan miss out on a top-four place in Serie A.
Andre Silva could be a top signing for Arsenal next season, if some circumstances transpire, as per reports.
The Serie A giants are in desperate need to qualify for UEFA Champions League next season, so as to recoup the million dollars that they splashed on rejuvenating their team last summer. If they fail to qualify, which looks very unlikely at the moment, they may need to cash in on some of their highest earners to avoid a big financial meltdown.
This is good news for the Gunners, who may seek a replacement for the departing contract rebel Alexis Sanchez next summer. Wenger’s team have been strongly linked with the Portuguese before but a move failed to materialize.
However, next summer transfer window could see a switch finally sealed, provided certain circumstances are met.
A lot was expected of the forward when he made the huge money transfer to the Serie A this summer, and so far, he has not really disappointed. While AC Milan may have had a decent start to the League season, the Portuguese, who is worth £22.5million by Transfermarkt, has done pretty well and has netted a couple of goals for both club and National team.
