According to Italian media reports, Serie A champions Juventus will only offload prolific striker Gonzalo Higuain if the Italian side receives a bid in the region of €60million amid rumour of interest from Premier League giants Chelsea.
Serie A giant set to offload goal poacher
Italian publication La Stampa, as cited by Calciomercato, is claiming that the Italian giants are set to sell the experienced Argentina international striker in the summer window.
The same report states that the forward is attracting severe interest from a number of Europe’s top teams, including Spanish La Liga club Atletico Madrid and French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain.
The Blues missed out on a place in the UEFA Champions League following a fifth-position finish behind Champions League finalists Liverpool after a 3-0 defeat to Premier League returnee Newcastle in their final match of the English Premier League season.
Poor Spaniard
The Emirates FA Cup holders signed Spain international striker Alvaro Morata in a £58million transfer deal from Spanish La Liga side Real Madrid back in the 2017 summer window.
However, the Spaniard struggled heavily to maintain his solid start and finished his debut campaign in England with a disappointing goal return of 11 in 31 matches in the 2017-18 campaign.
