This Chelsea Star Wants To Join Premier League Rival Next Summer

Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas wants to remain in London if he leaves the Stamford Bridge this summer, according to reports.

The 29-year-old has been a bit-part player this season under Antonio Conte, who has preferred to go with the partnership of Nemanja Vidic and N’Golo Kante with the 3-4-3 formatiion.

Fabregas has managed just ten appearances this season, sparking speculation that he might fancy a move away from the Blues this season. AC Milan has been linked with a summer move for the Spaniard and even tried to sign last January transfer window.

Reports in the Evening Standard claim that Fabregas is settled in London and does not want to leave the city, drawing suggestions that he will join a Premier League rivals this summer.

However, the former Arsenal star has limited options in the English capital due to the hostility he has received from Tottenham Hotspur in the past and a return to the Emirates looks very unlikely, leaving him the options of playing for smaller teams like West Ham or Crystal Palace.

It is understood that Antonio Conte views Fabregas as a squad player and prefers a more physical midfielder that will fit into his favourite 3-4-3 formation. Although, the midfielder has shown he has real quality when called upon on few occasions this season.
