4-3-3 Formation: Liverpool Will Thrash Maribor If Klopp Use This Starting XI

Liverpool put up a fine performance when they clashed with Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United during their weekend premier league game at Anfield, but they, unfortunately, couldn’t win the game despite taming the visitors all through the match.

The Merseyside club are now nine points behind league leaders Manchester City, and many are insisting Jurgen Klopp’s side are already out of the title race – though it might be too early to judge.

And taking a break from the premier league, the reds are going to dig it out with Maribor for their next Champions League game on Tuesday.

We shouldn’t forget that Liverpool dominated the games against both Spartak Moscow and Sevilla, but they failed to win any of the matches.

Maribor are regarded as the weakest side in Liverpool’s Champions League group, and we expect the Anfield club to win this game.

And as far as the team news is concerned, we are expecting some changes in the starting XI that played Manchester United last Saturday.

Former Arsenal player Oxlade-Chamberlain gave his best against the red devils on Saturday at Anfield, and he should get a start against Maribor later on today, alongside both Henderson and Can in the center of the park.

With Karius likely to replace Mignolet in between the sticks, Klopp’s side should thrash the home team if this 4-3-3 formation is used:

GK – Karius
DC – Lovren
DC – Matip
DL – Moreno
DR – Trent
DM – Henderson
MC – Can
MC – Ox
WL – Countiho
WR – Salah
FC – Firmino
