Star player reacts to Arsenal and City link
Spanish La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey has reacted to claims that he is being wanted by English Premier League sides Man City and Arsenal ahead of the summer transfer window.
Thomas Partey has been impressive so far this season and he is no doubt a major member of the Spanish side this season which makes him a focus by the two named Premier League sides and other suitors who are unnamed.
However, sources close to the Spanish La Liga outfit claims that manager Diego Simeone is interested in keeping Thomas Partey and will not find it funny should the club decide to cash in on him in the coming summer window.
Reacting to the reported interest, Thomas Partey hailed the Premier League as one of the best in the world, noting that it is competitive and have a number of world class players.
While expressing his delight at being linked with the league he so much cherishes, Thomas Partey stated that he hopes to play in the Premier League some day.
Thomas Partey has also been impressive with his Ghanaian national team where he also played the game against Kenya to secure qualification to the AFCON Nations Cup in Egypt later this year.
