Embarrassment! 28 goal striker turned down Arsenal for this main reason

Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has disclosed that he turned down Arsenal after a transfer meeting with French tactician Arsene Wenger after being unimpressed with Arsenal’s plans for him

As per a report from top publication Daily Mail the Swede refused to seal a trial at the north London club and instead asked to be signed straight in the senior team as just a young boy.

The publication cites comments made by Ibrahimovic to Sky Sports Italia in which he revealed how he does not seal trials.

The Manchester United striker stated that he went to the City of London for a meeting with Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, who asked him to audition for Arsenal. The big man said he told Wenger that he will not take trial at the club, he’s either taken or not.

After failing to seal the deal with the Arsene Wenger tutored side, the Swede instead went on to begin his playing career at Dutch Eredivisie side Ajax.

The former Barcelona forward went on to win 11 league crowns in four different Leagues before then returning to the English soil to haunt Arsene Wenger further by joining Jose Mourinho led Manchester United.

After suffering a serious injury, the forward is now game fit for the very first time in about 6 months.
