Chelsea Legend Frank Lampard has told players of the club the should get used to loving Italian Antonio Conte’s training schedule.
Reports lately have claimed there is a developing discontent among the Chelsea players about Conte’s training routine.
The Blues’ shape on the pitch has plunged with only three wins in their last seven games in all competitions, including a 3-0 humiliating loss to Italian Serie A giant AS Roma in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night.
Talking after the match in Rome, Lampard says the Italian tactician must go about seeking a settled back three, something the former Juventus boss has not had so far this season.
Furthermore, Lampard believes the former Italy coach will continue to work his squad extremely hard in training in an attempt to solve their problems.
The club legend told BT Sport, that the tactician must return to basics.
“I [Frank Lampard] think continuity is key, I [Frank Lampard] think he [Antonio Conte] has to try and discover his back three.
Chelsea does not have so much time to put things right as suggested by Frank Lampard at the back.
