Arsenal Set To Splash Huge Cash On Another Superstar

Arsene Wenger spent lots of money to lure Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon during the past summer transfer window, and the Frenchman is currently the most expensive player at the Emirates Stadium.

The talented striker has settled quickly to life at his new side, and is currently the top scorer for Arsenal this term.

But despite all these, there are still reports circulating in the media that the gunners are interested in signing another superb striker in the person of Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema.

Spanish news outlet Don Balon made it known that Wenger desire signing Benzema to replace bound-to-depart Alexis Sanchez next summer.

Karim is one of the best strikers in the world, and has won every major title with the Bernabeu club.

This season however, the Frenchman has been out of form and has been able to score just five goals in 15 games so far for Real Madrid.

It was also added that Arsenal are ready to offer the former Lyon player a starring role at the Emirates Stadium, as well as a nice pay package. But the issue is that, while Arsenal are not ready to spend more than €50million for the player’s signature, the Champions League winners won’t allow him to leave for anything less than €80million.

Benzema’s current deal with Real will expire in 2021, and we look forward to what the future holds.
