Why I left Emirates, Arsenal youngster

Arsenal young midfielder Reiss Nelson has stated that he had decided to join Germany based outfit Hoffenheim on loan because he was convinced by Jadon Sancho.

Nelson therefore, stated that he had enjoyed his first months at the club because of the friendship and support he got from the young lad.

Jadon Sancho joined Borussia Dortmund last season and has established a good relationship with the Arsenal player as they both reside in same country.

Sancho is also interesting Arsenal and a number of clubs in Europe due to his eye-catching performance with the German outfit in addition to his performance for Croatia last week in his international debut.

According to the North London Academy graduate, Sancho’s likeness for him can be traced to his style of play on the pitch. His speed and knowledge for one against one situation was what interested him in convincing him to come to Germany.

Nelson, therefore, added that he has got similar playing style with the Croatia international.

Meanwhile, Nelson is tipped to return back to the Emirates Stadium sooner than expected especially if Arsenal contract rebel, Aaron Ramsey leaves in the winter window as there could be an opportunity to have him fill the vacuum.
