Ligue 1 Side Ready To Ruin Man United’s Transfer Plans With Transfer Move

Arda Turan

Manchester United might lose out on the signature of Barcelona attacking midfielder Arda Turan with reports that AS Monaco will move for the player.

Reports in Turkish outlet Fanatik claim that the French side have entered race to sign the midfielder as they look to bring in replacements for their departed stars before the end of the summer window.

Turan, who arrived at the Camp Nou in 2015 from league rivals, Atletico Madrid, has not been able to get into contention, struggling to get game-time and has been tipped to leave the club this summer.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is understood to be an admirer of Turan’s abilities and also have a working relationship with the player’s agent which could be a deciding factor in a potential deal but the French giants could ruin United’s plans.

AS Monaco have started plans to reinforce their ranks as they also prepare for the imminent exit of Kylian Mbappe who is nearing a summer move to Paris Saint Germain and could be unveiled soon as a Parisien.

Arsenal were believed to have held talks with the Turkish midfielder as he searched for ideal replacements for Mesut Ozil as he delayed renewal talks with the North London earlier this summer window.
