United fans prefer 17-year-old wonderkid to Lukaku

The reactions on twitter are a clear indication that Manchester United fans will prefer to have 17-year-old wonderkid Mason Greenwood in the attack ahead of under-firing Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku.

Mason Greenwood had an emphatic display during the United youth team’s 3-0 win over Norwich where he had it too easy to go past the defenders to find the back of the net.

The youngster has scored a total of 11 goals in addition to 4 assists in eight games for his side in the U18 league.

A lot of reactions trailed the young lad’s performance with some already stating that he should be invited to the first team to start ahead of the Belgium striker who is not having it good with his goal scoring this season.

Mason Greenwood has got comparison with Marcus Rashford as well with questions thrown at the Portuguese manager on when he intends to have the young lad in the first team.

Meanwhile, the former Chelsea boss is not ready to mount pressure on Lukaku having asked the fans to get patient with the Belgium man and not unsettle him at the club.

However, there is no chance that Mourinho will have the player ahead of other senior players as he will not be willing to take any gamble that will further affect the results coming from his side.
