Mourinho Desperate To Sign Chelsea Target, Asked Board To ‘Do Everything Possible’

Barcelona star player Jordi Alba has been in the news consistently in recent times due to his links with various top clubs across Europe.

The talented player has been heavily linked with a move away from Camp Nou this summer after emerging as a target for the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea.

Last month, his agent revealed how the Spanish champions failed to renew his client’s current contract despite making a promise to do so.

Alba was linked with Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool during the January transfer window, with rumours that Barca won’t mind sending him to Anfield to get Philippe Coutinho. However, the Catalan giants were able to sign Coutinho without having to send Alba to Merseyside.

Nevertheless, according to new reports coming from Spain, Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is keen on signing the talented player and has told the management to do all it takes to bring him down to Old Trafford this summer.

Spanish news outlet Don Balon made it known that the Portuguese tactician is ‘willing to do anything’ to secure the player’s signature ahead of the 2018/19 season.
