Former chief might have betrayed Arsenal with reported move

An emerging report might not be interesting to Arsenal fans as it is reported that former chief Sven Mislintat could be joining another English Premier League side anytime soon.

Sven Mislintat left the North London outfit and was believed to be heading to German Bundesliga outfit Bayern Munich but there were every indication that a deal did not work through.

Raphael Honigstein reported that he believed Sven Mislintat is interested in staying in the Premier League as he hopes to be approached by other teams.

It would be recalled that the former Borussia Dortmund has a number of offers before joining Arsenal and there are suggestions that they could return for him before the start of next season.

However, Arsenal have been unable to secure a replacement for the former chief as their efforts to land former AS Roma sporting director Monchi has failed. He has gone to join Spanish La Liga outfit Sevilla.

More so, the Gunners have shown interest in their former player and Ajax chief Marc Overmars, but the club is unwilling to release him because of the value they place on him.

There is no doubt that the Gunners will do some business in the coming summer transfer window and there are fears that it will happen without a head of recruitment as they are yet to secure a replacement for Sven Mislintat.
