The latest report have revealed that Man United midfielder Ander Herrera would be leaving the club at the end of the season after signing a pre-contract with French Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint Germain.
Andre Herrera has been linked away from the club for the past months and is being wanted by a number of clubs including North London outfit Arsenal.
The Daily Express reports that Spaniard, 29, had failed to agree on a new deal with the Red Devils with his contract expected to expire at the end of the season. He is therefore permitted to speak with suitors.
The combative midfielder has been very instrumental in the resurgence of the Red Devils team under manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and it is, however, a surprise that he would be leaving the club without being handed a new deal.
There is no doubt that the exit of Ander Herrera would be a major setback to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as he might not be able to secure a perfect replacement for him.
There were earlier reports that Ander Herrera was willing to remain at the Old Trafford but on demands that his pay is raised to £200,000 weekly.
Pundits have also argued that other players be allowed to remain with the team and not seek a move away because they were part of the quad that ensured the success of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer team. It is important they remain to continue with the progress.
However, Man United boss will be left with no choice than to secure a replacement for Ander Herrera in the coming summer transfer market.
