He Rejected Chelsea’s Offer, Arsenal Set To Try Their Luck

According to new reports, Arsenal are now discussing with Schalke’s impressive midfielder Sead Kolasinac over a possible move at the upcoming summer.

Daily Mail reported that Arsenal have spoken to Kolasinac’s representatives once again after holding initial talks some weeks back this year.

The 23-year-old’s current contract with the German club expires at the end of the season. So, if a new deal isn’t signed soonest before the contract expires, then he will be available on a free transfer.

It was revealed that premier league table leaders Chelsea made an offer worth £5.3 million for the Bosnian star in the past January transfer window, but it was rejected. However, Chelsea are said to still have interest in him and plan pushing their luck again when the summer transfer window comes.

It was revealed also that not only Chelsea and Arsenal are interested in him, but other top clubs including Manchester City, Liverpool, and Serie A side Juventus, have all also expressed interest in getting Kolasinac’s signature.

He is a versatile player who is capable of playing as a full-back and in the midfield, and the Stamford Bridge club are confident of landing him ahead of others when the summer transfer window begins.

Surely, Kolasinac will have lots of options to choose from when summer comes, especially if he ended up not putting pen to paper at the Bundesliga side before his deal expires.
