The Spanish forward has been tipped to leave the Santiago Bernabeu this summer after failing to nail a starting place at the Santiago Bernabeu since he moved to the Spanish capital last summer after his impressive spell with Juventus, which saw a host of clubs in the Premier League all in his pursuit before Real triggered a buy-back clause to have him back at the club.

Zinedine Zidane has favoured other players in the central role over Morata this season, sparking transfer rumours of interest from several clubs in Europe with reports that Chelsea and United are keen on signing the striker.

Reports in Spanish outlet Marca have it that AC Milan have moved ahead of the Premier League clubs to sign Alvaro Morata and are ready to meet Real Madrid’s valuation of Morata.

The Italian giants are buoyed by the massive takeover by a Chinese consortium with more funds for transfer this summer as they begin to bolster their ranks to reclaim their past glories.

Jose Mourinho is keen on adding quality to his attack this summer with suggestions that United board have provided the Portuguese boss a massive transfer bill to bring in his targets.
