Napoli Slap £130m Asking Price On Chelsea Target

Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly is one of the most sought-after talents in European football with several clubs interested in him.

Daily Mail claim that Napoli have slapped a £130m asking price on the Senegalese international centre back in a bid to ward off the interest of his potential suitors.

The Spanish La Liga duo of Barcelona and Real Madrid have been linked with a move for the aforementioned Koulibaly in addition to Premier League clubs like Manchester United and Chelsea.

Kalidou Koulibaly is widely regarded as one of the top three centre backs in world football.

The 27-year-old has been a key player for his Italian Serie A club since joining them from Belgian side Club Brugge in 2014.

Chelsea were heavily linked with Kalidou Koulibaly last summer when Maurizio Sarri left Napoli to take the managerial job at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues were able to sign Jorginho from Napoli who were adamant that other key players won’t follow the Italian international to Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea splashed a whopping sum of £57m on Jorginho to secure his transfer from Napoli and the Italian midfielder has become a key member of the playing style adopted at the West London side though he has been criticised in recent weeks when results dipped at the club.
