Mustafi Out, Arsenal Probable Lineup vs. Everton

English Premier League (EPL) title contenders Arsenal have another opportunity to put an early pressure on league leaders Chelsea when they face struggling Everton at the Goodison Park on Tuesday night in what would be their 16th league game of the season.

The starting line-up for the Gunners will surely change as they attempt to regain top spot with a win against Everton with German world cup winner and former Sampdoria and Valencia star Skhrodan Mustafi out with hanstring injury meaning he will miss the return to his former hunting ground.

Mustafi, a £32m signing from Spanish side Valencia during the summer, got the injury midway into the first half of Saturday’s 3-1 win over Stoke City with Spanish right back Hector Bellerin replacing him. He is likely to slot into the starting XI against Everton with Brazilian defender Gabriel, who has been playing right back in the last few weeks, joining stand-in captain Laurent Koscielny in the heart of the defence.

In midfield, nothing would likely change with Spanish playmaker Santi Cazorla still out so new summer signing Granit Xhaka is set to continue his midfield role alongside Francis Coquelin. Moving forward the front four of Sanchez, Ozil, Walcott and Oxlade-Chamberlain is likely to be the same though Iwobi made a goalscoring apperance as a substitute over the weekend therefore he has put himself forward for a starting place.

Arsenal Expected XI vs. Everton: Cech; Bellerin, Gabriel, Koscielny, Monreal; Xhaka, Coquelin; Walcott, Ozil, Oxlade-Chamberlain; Sanchez
