Former Arsenal striker Robin Van Persie has been exposed by his former teammate Wojciech Szczesny as being arrogant especially in his attempt to leave the Emirates Stadium to the Old Trafford.

The pair had a spell at the North London outfit under former manager before they both parted ways with the attacker being the first to leave to Arsenal’s rivals, Man United.

Wojciech Szczesny had spent years as a Gunner where he won two FA Cup before he found himself in the Italian Serie A with AS Roma and now with Juventus while Robin Van Persie played under former manager Arsene Wenger at Arsenal from 2004 to 2012.

However, the goalkeeper noted that the striker could have achieved more at the Emirates Stadium if he had waited but displayed his arrogance to have dumped Arsenal, noting that the Netherland international never had a big career after he left.

However, Wojciech Szczesny says the Arsenal club is a special place to be as he had a whole lot of experience at the club before leaving elsewhere.

Meanwhile, Wojciech Szczesny now files out for Juventus where he is currently in the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League and also hoping to land the Serie A title later this season.
