Chelsea has made history as the first side to go on nine-game winning run on five separate occasions.
The Blues have been in a brilliant form this season since their 3-0 loss to Arsenal which prompted Antonio Conte to switch to 3-4-3 formation at the start of October.
The 1-0 win over West Bromvich Albion courtesy a second-half strike by Diego Costa helped Chelsea to seal a narrow victory to claim a ninth consecutive triumph in the Premier League this season.
Prior to this feat, Manchester United were level with the Stamford Bridge side for going on a nine-winning streak in the league on four different occasions.
Next Up for Chelsea is Sunderland next Wednesday with hopes of extending their winning streak to ten. Though Arsenal still hold the record for longest winning run in the League history with 14 victories in 2002.
Although, The Blues manager has said his side is not interested in breaking Arsenal record as they moved closer to breaking the record after their win
When asked about the Gunners’ record, the Italian boss responded: ‘I am interested in continuing to win. I am not interested in the record.’
Conte was also keen to praise his men for their impressive performance with hopes that they continue in typical fashion in subsequent games
He added: ‘I am pleased, another clean sheet. It was a very difficult game, but we knew this,’
