Former Chelsea star player Mohamed Salah made Chelsea fans happy on Saturday when he refused to celebrate his goal at Anfield on Saturday.

Salah scored his 15th goal of the season against the defending premier league champions, but simply raised his hands in a show of respect for his time at the club. The act was also a tribute to his country who suffered a fatal tragedy recently when 305 people were killed in a terrorist attack.

Nonetheless, the Egypt international proved his class to Chelsea and earned the respect of the fans after his show of maturity.

But before the game, camera picked up the former Roma player with the Chelsea party and greeting his former team-mates.
Mo was seen saying hello to Willian before bear-hugging David Luiz in the tunnel.

David embraces his former teammate warmly in the tunnel before everyone made their way onto the pitch. He has been watching from the sidelines for the Stamford Bridge club in recent weeks, following speculations that all is not well between him and manager Antonio Conte.

Salah on his part is currently the top scorer in the English top flight and will be available for Wednesday premier league game against Stoke City.

A win at Stoke will likely fire Jurgen Klopp’s side back into the top four.
