Sky Sports reporter – Chelsea move to sign €150,000-a-week striker at an early stage

Micheal Bridge – Chelsea move for Gonzalo Higuain at an early stage

Following the arrival of former Napoli coach, Sarri Maurizio at Stamford Bridge, the Italian has been on a move to strengthen the team.

So far he has signed just one player, Jorginho, Napoli midfielder, who came along with him from the Italian league.

The Italian coach is faced with possible transfer of key players like Belgium players, Eden Hazard, Thibaut Courtois and Brazil international, Willian.

This has made Sarri sought means to sign new players even though he stated in a statement that he is confident the trio will stay put at Stamford Bridge.

However, Sky Sports reporter, Micheal Bridge in a recent podcast disclosed that the Blues are already in a move to sign Juventus striker, Gonzalo Higuain.

He added that the deal is still at its early stage.

Sarri has shown interest in Higuain especially as the two have once shared a past, and Sarri has made him one of the top players Chelsea must sign.

With the deal reportedly at the early stage, it is uncertain whether a transfer would materialize before the close of the transfer window in 3 weeks time.

But Juventus may speed up the deal for the right amount especially after they spent heavily to secure Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid.
