Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is still keen on completing a summer move for AS Monaco youngster, Kylian Mbappe, according to reports.

The 18-year-old has been tipped for greater success drawing interest from several clubs in Europe due to his brilliant displays for the Ligue 1 champions last season that also saw them get to the latter stages of the Champions League.

Arsene Wenger is understood to be a long-term admirer of Mbappe’s qualities and even tried to sign him last summer, visiting the player’s home and has retained his interest in the striker making contact with the player and AS Monaco over a potential move this summer.

Real Madrid were said to have blown Arsenal out of the water after meeting the player, with reports that Mbappe wants to move to Santiago Bernabeu this summer but reports in football.London claims that Wenger is not relenting on a transfer for Mbappe and feels he can still get the youngster this summer.

Paris Saint-Germain are also understood to be monitoring the youngster’s situation and are set to rival other interested clubs for the player’s signature although it is believed that AS Monaco will be reluctant to sell the player to their closest rivals.
