Drogba believes that he is a perfect fit for Conte’s system.
Drogba, after a successful career at Chelsea, is regarded as one of Chelsea’s best ever players. He however left Chelsea just a year before Antonio Conte arrived – in the summer of 2015.
Conte has set things right after taking over the mantle of leadership at the club at the start of this season. Right now, he has helped the club to dominate the premier league table with just six games left to be played.
He settled for his classic 3-4-3 formation this season that made his side seem unstoppable. He is on his way to winning a premier league title and the FA Cup double this season.
And Drogba confessed that he would have loved to play under Conte because he would have scored a few more goals.
Drogba, who has, in 381 games for Chelsea, scored 164 times, says the way Conte’s team is positioned, everything is set up for the strikers.
