20-year-old Arsenal star to get improved deal

Emerging report indicates that the North London outfit Arsenal are set to hand a new and improved deal to Matteo Guendouzi as soon as the season ends.

Matteo Guendouzi joined the North London outfit in the last summer transfer window and was expected to begin with the youth team for more development but he did the unbelievable by breaking into the first team.

This made Matteo Guendouzi favoured in the Unai Emery team as he was a starter in the first few games ahead of Lucas Torreira and Mohamed Elneny before the former Sampdoria midfielder came in to take his place.

Matteo Guendouzi was able to have 47 appearances across all competitions in his first season and that has impressed the management to want to hand him an improved deal.

However, it is reported that the North London team are ready to hand Matteo Guendouzi a new deal of ÂŁ75,000-weekly as well as to extend his deal to 2023 from the initial ÂŁ40,000.

It is suggested that Matteo Guendouzi will form a major part of the club future as he has shown the potential and would be handed more responsibility and playing time by the former PSG and Sevilla boss ahead of the coming season.
