Nicolo Zaniolo

AS Roma wonderkid Nicolo Zaniolo has ruled out an exit from the club despite the transfer rumours linking him with a move this summer.

The 19-year-old is said to be attracting the interest of clubs like German Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, Italian Serie A champions Juventus, Champions League finalists Tottenham Hotspur and Europa League finalists Chelsea.

In a chat with Sky Sports Italia, Zaniolo revealed that he will sit down with the club over a new contract despite the fact that he has four years left on his present deal with AS Roma.

The Italian giants want to offer him a contract extension with improved weekly wages.

Nicolo Zaniolo has made a very good impression in his first season with the Italian capital club.

The young Italian midfielder joined Roma last summer as part of the transfer that took Belgian international player Radja Nainggolan to Inter Milan.

He was a makeweight in the transfer of the Belgian midfielder to fellow Italian Serie A club Inter Milan.

Nicolo Zaniolo has scored six goals and also provided two assists in 35 games in all competitions including four goals and two assists in 26 games in the Italian Serie A.

His finest hour as a Roma player came in the first leg of his team’s Champions League clash with Portuguese giants FC Porto.

Zaniolo scored a brace in a 2-1 win over FC Porto at the Estadio Olimpico in Rome.
