Manchester United transfer official jets to Spain to finalise deal

It appears Yerry Mina will become a Manchester United player next season.

According to new reports, an official from Manchester United – Matt Judge – has arrived Spain to seal a £35million deal for the defender.

Barca are reportedly set to sell the Colombian international and the red devils have been moved to act after an instruction from Jose Mourinho.

It was made known that Mourinho had a meeting with Matt in the United States this week, and he had asked him to sign Yerry – who has become his new No. 1 centre-back target.

After failing in their attempts to sign either of Toby Alderweireld and Harry Maguire this summer, the red devils are set to focus on bringing Mina to the Theater of Dreams before the start of the upcoming premier league campaign.

Tottenham Hotspur were demanding for over £70M for Toby’s signature while Leicester City want £65m for Harry.

The red devils are not ready to pay that much for any of them but could get Mina for just £35m.

According to the Sun, Matt Judge will hold a meeting with Yerry’s agent Felipe Russo and he will try finalising a deal with Barca as soon as possible.

Mina’s popularity skyrocketed after his impressive performances for Colombia during the past World Cup at Russia.
